"Surprise call from Margo Willis, WCR National President-Elect"

The Personal Touch:

I was caught totally off guard when I answered my phone to hear Margo Willis introduce herself to me. She went on to explain that WCR National President, Deborah Gilmore, wanted all Local Chapter Presidents to be contacted by the National WCR Officers.

She said they appreciated all we do and wanted to know if there is anything they could do for us ...especially with retention and getting new members.

I shared with her my "Have A Heart" revelation and appreciation of all the WCR Members who attended, helped, and donated at this spectacular fund raising event. She thought that was just wonderful and commented on how important it is to have a strong bond with our local Board of Realtors.

I didn't ask for anything from them, but, told her we would be doing our best. She replied, You can't ask for more than that!

She said she is a hugger, so she will be hugging us at Summit and Washington DC.

What a nice touch, a personal phone call.
