October 6th, 2009

Ohio WCR's own Barb Lach was awarded the 2009 Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievemant Award.  The announcement was recently published in the Columbus newspaper as follows:

We are extremely pleased to announce that Barbara Lach is the 2009 recipient of the Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award.

The Phillip R. Barnes RPAC Achievement Award was established In 2001 to recognize a REALTOR annually whose outstanding commitment to the Ohio Association of Realtors and to Realtors Political Action Committee was unparalleled.

Barbara is a past president of the Ohio Association of REALTORS and the Columbus Board of REALTORS and has served as chairman of numerous OAR and local board committees.  She has been in the real estate profession for many years, and has always dedicated her career to improving the real estate industry and profession for all real estate practitioners.   Barbara has always been a strong supporter of RPAC, and for several years, she has contributed to RPAC at the highest lever, the Golden R Level, and is a President’s Circle Member.  She is also a member of the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame. Over the years, Barbara has truly led by example on the importance of RPAC.

Barbara continually gives her time and energy to supporting RPAC.  Whether she was promoting the importance of RPAC, serving as an OAR RPAC Trustee, traveling statewide to various RPAC related events, working with local, state and national REALTORS to improve RPAC participation or generously contributing to RPAC personally, Barbara Lach has taken RPAC to a higher level and in turn made our local, state and national associations that much stronger. Congratulations, Barbara on this achievement and thank you for your hard work and dedication to RPAC and OAR.
