In September, many of our WCR members attended the OAR convention in Columbus to participate in not only WCR activities, but also OAR.  Saturday proved to be very informative with workshops and semnars hosted by our state WCR, followed by a reception in the evening. 

Sunday's activities included the state WCR governing board meeting, general membership meeting and also luncheon, where Dee Matthews represented Stark County as our Member of the Year.  And thank you Sharon Barker for designing that wonderful lottery treasure chest as our silent auction item.  It brought the most money of all items, a whopping $65!  Monday night's activities included the Presidential Sales Club dinner, which many of our members attended and received their awards.

At the OAR activities, Linda Parker represented Stark County as the Realtor of the Year and Susan O'Neal represented the Akron Area Board of Realtors.  Also, Susan was honored with the OAR STATE REALTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD!  Congratulatios Susan!

Another state award winner was Dee Matthews, who was presented with the OAR 2009 EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD.  Dee's efforts with her "Step Up to Homeownership" program made her the sure winner for this prestigious award.  Good Work Dee!
