On Thursday, Sept. 24th, the Board of Directors of Stark County Association of Realtors met for a special meeting to vote on moving forward on the issue of a tentative merger with the Akron Area Board of Realtors.  The vote was unanimous to work towards the goal of merging both boards by 7-1-10.  On Oct. 22nd, SCAR will be hosting "R-Day" at the Marriott for our general membership meeting and Realtor Appreciation Day.  During this meeting, members will have the opportunity to ask questions about the merger.  The tentative format of this meeting will require that questions be written down and handed in to be answered by the appropriate Director or Officer who can best answer that question.  Please plan on attending this important membership meeting as this decision will affect all SCAR members.
